Yesterday it was my joy and opportunity to volunteer to do the children story at my daughter's Pre-K, and the the little minds were so receptive. They eagerly wanted someone to share with them a story.In many ways we as adults are like children, like to hear stories.especially the ones that take someone from a nobody to a somebody.There is something inside of us that make us cheer for the underdog, until that person succeeds.So why is it that we are afraid to be that someone,who finally gets it together and lives that fulfill life?.Like the children we are in awe of the story, but unlike the children we don't believe that can happen to us, because it's too good to be true."We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves,we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit".
